In 2014, I was chosen to participate in a Leadership Development program within my organization.

Challenge

As a member of the leadership development program, I worked alongside a team of 6 individuals from various locations globally to address a present challenge as assigned by the General Manager and Vice President of Corporate Services. Our team was given six weeks to conduct research and prepare recommendations which we subsequently presented to the senior management. The task was to enhance the quality of Intel's cafes.

Approaches

Our team meticulously examined thousands of survey data collected from employees situated across the globe. To further comprehend similar cafes, we conducted an on-site visit to Silicon Valley, where we observed the cafes of companies such as LinkedIn, Google, YouTube, Oracle and Stanford University. We presented our findings to senior management, as evidenced in the presentation snippet above. Our team was the only one in which all proposed ideas were approved and put into action.
