I work on various HR projects, which include a tool for managing talent, a system for tracking and approving promotions and an emphasis on modernizing the long-standing performance recognition practices which have been in place for 40 years.
approaches
I took over the redesign of the performance recognition system from a previous designer who had left the project. I picked up where they left off, conducting user testing, improving the design, and collaborating with both executive leadership and engineering teams. As the project was nearing completion, I was approached by the Talent Management team to design a UI for viewing succession planning by teams and also was asked to improve the process of collecting, sharing, and voting for leadership promotions.
Outcomes
The successful launch of the new tool was accomplished within 4 months and received positive feedback from employees. The project was awarded an Intel Achievement Award, which is considered one of the company's most prestigious honors.
